Name: The league shall be known at Kendal Ladies Darts & Domino League.

This will be ran by a representative group of members, known as “The Working Group”

League Rules

1. Only Pubs & Clubs within a 3 mile radius of Kendal are eligible to play in the league.
2. All teams must register & pay annual subs at the AGM.
3. Once registered, 
   • All team players are members of the league           
   • All members are representatives of fair, polite & friendly play during all games. 
4. Teams require a minimum of 5 players to register and can have a maximum of 12 players per season.
5. If a team plays more than 12 players, the extra player’s game points will be void.
6. Players can only play for one team per season.
7. Captains to be selected by their own house team.
8. The season will consist of the League matches (April – Oct), knockouts (Nov – Dec), Individual Trophies (Feb), Presentation (Mar) & an AGM (Apr).
9. Postponing matches – please let the other team know as soon as possible.
   • In the event of a postponed matches, every effort must be made to play the outstanding game within 14 days. The match must be played on an agreed board.
   • The working group are to be informed of any rearranged matches (place & date) as soon as agreed and the sheets photographed and uploaded by the winning team by 12 noon the following day.
   • Exceptional circumstances whereby the game has not been played within the 14 days, an additional 14 days is allowed. If the game has not taken place under any circumstances by day 28, this is then classed as a forfeit and will result in the cancelling team losing 2 points from their darts, dominoes, 1001 & aggregate (a total of 8 points) & the other team claiming a winning 1 point for darts, dominoes, 1001 & aggregate, (a total of 4 points), no individual points will be deducted or added.
10. Board should be a match board, well lit, safe with black/white board for marking. 5ft 8ins from floor to centre bull & throw from a minimum of 7ft 6ins  (diagonally @ 111.5ins)
11. The matches consists of one round of 1001, 7 individual games of darts and 7 individual games of dominoes. 
12. Any registered member of your team can play just a domino game and not a darts game.
13. All games to be drawn by dominoes before the match starts and no additional players can be added once the draw has taken place. Both captains to show full list of players prior to and throughout the draw.
14. Games to start no later than 8.30pm. 
15. Only two members of a team can play twice per match, provided the team are not having separate domino players, decided by the draw of dominoes before the games begin. Using the Team name on the results sheet for all second games.
16. 2 points for a match win.
17. Host team to provide a competent marker, calculators allowed. 
18. Away team to go first in all games.
19. All matches and individual games must be played and cannot be forfeited or claimed (only in the instance where there are 4 players or less).

Darts Games

1. Darts games are 7 individual games of 501, double off & finish
2. Markers word is final and is there to ensure fair play.
3. No darts should be removed from the board until the marker has confirmed the score.
4. Marker to only say score required – not the double. No shouting over the marker.
5. Any queries over marking should be raised immediately. Once notified, both darts players and the markers only to correct/comment, otherwise, only support when asked please.
6. No heckling at players or marker 

Domino Games 

1. 7 individual games, best of 3, CHIP OUT
2. 9 dominoes each 
3. Up to 5 players can play dominoes only provided they have nominated who they are replacing from the darts prior to the draw before any games start.

1001

1. 1 game of all 7 players to throw with a double to finish.
2. If a player is unavoidable late, a substitute may be used, drawn by a domino before any game starts.
3. This game can be played before or after the darts and domino matches provided it is agreed by both captains prior to the draw.

Sheets

1. Captain to fill in and sign the results sheet as correct.
   1. Sheet to be photographed by both captains, paper copy to be stored for the season by winning captain for their own records until the final results sheet is announced.
   2. All results sheets to be uploaded by the winning team by midday Wednesday onto the new WhatsApp group.

Aggregate Trophies

1. Total of darts, dominoes & 1001 added together. In the case of teams being level on points, the winner will be decided by the number of games of darts & dominoes won by each team.

Highest check-in/check-out trophies 

1. High check-in/out over 80 to be recorded on the sheet.
2. Both captains to sign underneath to verify final result as correct.

Shields 

1. All shields to be returned to league at the House champs comp

1. To be used as a positive friendly space to champion each other and celebrate the league, games, results sheets, photos, 180’s, announcements etc.
2. No abuse/cursing/slander or derogatory comment to be made at all on the public domain. To, by or from anyone.
3. Local business can be advertised on our site to promote Shop local. Champion our community & News from our social network. Links relevant to the group are allowed

Etiquette

1. Foul language must be refrained from whilst representing your team in the public houses.
2. No shouting scores at the marker or have anything to say about someone’s marking other than supportive and constructive help, maybe the answer and a smile, its sometimes nerve raking up there.
3. We do not have an anti-bullying policy however we expect everyone to be kind, considerate and inclusive, treating others as you would expect to be treated.

Complaints

1. Any complaints must be sent to KendalLDDLeague@outlook.com (Case sensitive) by the captain after full discussion with your team and should be raised within 7 days of occurring.
2. In case of dispute, a special meeting can be called by the working group following receipt of an email to the address above, stating the nature of the dispute. Venue, date and time. All members will be invited to attend.

Any matters not covered in the rules with be dealt with by the working group and their ruling will be final and binding.
